Viasat Group announced the acquisition of 51% of the French company Locster, a Telematics Service Provider specialized in software solutions for the Fleet Management market serving 4000 customers and 25,000 connected vehicles that are added, in terms of technological and commercial assets, to the already considerable Group’s customer base.

The merger between the two companies Elem S. p. A. and Vem Solutions S. r. l., both entirely owned by the Viasat Group holding company came to fruition. It marked the birth of a new, global player which will compete in the markets of the future thanks to its innovative development skills, operational flexibility and technological synergies, which will further enhance and develop the Group’s typical businesses and the new opportunities brought by IoT, Big Data analytics and business intelligence.

National synergies, speed and operational flexibility, “glocal” strategy, investments in innovation, valorization of local skills and Internet of Things. These are just some of the keywords that have characterized the meeting, which brought together all the CEOs of the Viasat Group’s subsidiaries for the fourth time, on December 14th.
